Oftentimes, we have questions about attending a church for the first time. Below are a few questions and answers to help you feel more comfortable as a first-time visitor.
What is it like?
Here at New Birth Assembly of God, you will find love, faith, and God's truth reflected among each member. Our pastors and church family truly are hearers and doers of the Word of God. We strive daily to be the church that God aspires us to be.
What about my kids?
Childcare is offered during our 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship services for young walkers to middle schoolers. Our high school youth who are members of New Birth Assembly of God act as leaders-in-training by serving alongside our adult youth workers during children's church.
During children's church, your child(ren) will participate in their own version of the church service, which will include highly engaging activities paired with Biblical principles according to their age level.
Where do I park?
Parking is located on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, you will want to arrive early to get the best spot! Parking is located near the side and behind the fellowship hall (brick building). There are also parking locations across the street from the entrance to the sanctuary (metal building). When these spaces are filled, you can find additional parking behind the sanctuary on the next street.
What do I wear?
Men who attend our church services typically wear walking suits and dress suits. Women who attend our church services typically wear skirts, dresses, and pants suits. Church wear is usually a time for "best-dressed" attire, but we will not turn you away if you enter the church with other options. Our goal is to be a vessel for God to reach souls. We know that your spiritual walk will follow and line up with God's Word according to His time.
How can I get connected?
You can reach out here on our website, by calling the church, or via Facebook. We look forward to seeing you soon!
